It’s a date: Celebrate Lantern Festival at Macau New Neighbourhood
To experience the festive ambience with Macau residents, MUR will take place in the neighbourhood on 24 February (Saturday) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. host a lantern festival at Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin for the first time this year. The event, “Celebrating Lantern Festival at MNN”
Macau New Neighbourhood Chinese New Year holiday arrangements
MNN show flats in Hengqin will remain open over the Chinese New Year holiday, the sales centre in Hengqin will be closed for three days from 10 February to 12 February and business will resume on 13 February.
With the support from several entities of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, MNN held a ceremony on 2 January 2024 to launch the one-stop service of online real estate registration procedure and flat handover, becoming the first livelihood project in the Cooperation Zone to issue ownership certificates instantly after the handover of completed homes.
Positive response on first day of sale of Macau New Neighbourhood Over 500 applications as of 3 p.m.
The sale of residential units at Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) began on 28 November at 9 a.m. met with great enthusiasm, attracting people queuing up in an orderly manner. As of 3 p.m., over 500 applications were received at the sales centres and through online application on the first day of application.
Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin is an important pilot project bringing together quality living space, business, education, medical, and social services into one place, where Macau-standard public services are extended to and docked with Macau social welfare facilities, to create a comfortable living environment that is similar to Macau.
Macau New Neighbourhood in Hengqin to open for subscriptions from 28 November
The construction of the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) project in Hengqin has been completed. The project’s residential units will be opened for subscriptions starting from 28 November at 9 a.m. Macau residents who are interested in buying an MNN flat can apply online or submit their application documents in person at the sales centres.

Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR), a private legal person, is building the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) project in Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. MNN is a large-scale livelihood project that comprises residences, a health station, a school, a seniors’ service centre and a family community service centre.

Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) show flats, including modified and unmodified, were officially opened to the public on November 1. As of 5:30 p.m. on November 3, over 3,500 visits were recorded over the first three days since the show flats were opened, which included a public holiday.
Macau New Neighbourhood show flats to open for viewing tomorrow
The Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) project in Hengqin is in the inspection and acceptance stage, greenery and roads are gradually being completed. At present, Macau Urban Renewal Limited’s (MUR) project company Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Novo Bairro de Macau (Hengqin, Zhuhai), Limitada is following the regulations of Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Zhuhai to obtain the occupation permit.

MUR helped property owners of Mau Tan House’s eight buildings, which are part of Iao Hon Estate, convene condominium owners’ general meetings during August and September to set up management committees, becoming the fourth batch of buildings at Iao Hon Estate renewal project to have management committees. Meanwhile, MUR has begun similar work with property owners of Heng Long House.
The Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) project in Hengqin has entered the key stage of inspection, as landscaping and road works are currently being carried out. It is expected that the project will pass inspection this month. In accordance with the laws and policies, completed homes can go on sale when relevant departments in Hengqin have completed the reporting and registration process, which are part of the approval process.
